Tune In, Turn On: Biofield Clearing with Tuning Forks

A Nada Yoga Practice for Healing

Nada Yoga: Nada is Sanskrit for sound, thunder, roar, howl, or cry. Nada is sound or tone. Nada yoga is an internal sound that is not perceived by our external sense organs. Nada yoga practice is completely devoted to sound. Nada practitioners use mantras and instruments to create vibrations and resonance with clients to regulate the immune system and work with physical ailments as well as psychological difficulties.

Sound healing is based on the recognition that we are all energetic Beings with both individual and composite frequencies. When our frequencies become dissonant, we are no longer living in coherence. Through sound healing, we are able to bring the body back into harmony and coherence. Chaos and dissonance occur physically, mentally, emotionally, and spiritually. With sound healing instruments and the human voice, we can create a stable, harmonious, and coherent Being bringing health, peace, and joy. Catina Topash, C-IAYT, E-500 RYT, MM

“In the beginning was the Word. And the Word was with God, and the Word was God.” Gospel of John

“We are on the threshold of a new world, where the understanding of sound and vibration is about to transform our entire medical system, our educational system, and provide access to higher states of awareness for the masses.” David Gibson

“There will come a time when a diseased condition will not be described as it is today by physicians and psychologists but will be spoken of in musical terms, as one would speak of a piano that was out of tune.” Rudolf Steiner

Common Responses to a Sound Healing Practice

  • an improved sense of well-being
  • toxin release (may temporarily cause headache, fatigue, nausea, vomiting, etc)
  • emotional release (crying, shaking, anger, laughter)
  • blood pressure and heart rate can increase or decrease
  • clarity and a sensation of energy
  • reduced pain and muscle tension
  • improved circulation and digestion
  • increase (short term) or decrease in anxiety and depression
  • memory recall
  • release pain patterns
  • release repetitve thinking patterns

Contraindications Because of the power of sound healing, we want to ensure the safety of all clients. Please let Jill know ahead of time if you have epilepsy, have any medical implants, if you are pregnant in your first trimester, if you have a history of severe depression, psychosis, or other serious mental health challenges.

What is the biofield?

The human energy field, otherwise known as “aura.” In 1990s, Dr. Valerie Hunt at U of California discovered different colored bands resonating at specific frequencies. In 1994, the term “biofield” was chosen to describe the fiend of energy and information that surrounds and interpenetrates the human body. The biofield is composed of measurable electromagnetic energy and hypothetical subtle body energy, or chi. Around 2010, Barbara Ann Brennen, founder of Brennen Healing Science, world-renowned healer, teacher, former NASA physicist, and author, summarized the aura as plasma moving in clouds. Scientists propose plasma exists in a state between energy and matter.

What is a biofield healing?

Biofield therapies are noninvasive therapies in which the practitioner explicitly works with a client’s biofield (interacting fields of energy and information that surround living systems) to stimulate healing responses in patients.

What is the biofield tuning fork method?

Biofield Tuning is a unique, non-medical therapeutic method that uses sound waves produced by tuning forks in the biomagnetic field that surrounds the human body. It resolves distortion in your electromagnetic field, leaving you feeling calm, clear and free of stress.

The biofield tuning technique uses tuning forks in the biofield, or aura, an acoustic field of inaudible sound that surrounds the human body about five or six feet away from the body. Different areas of the field store information related to different emotions, relationships and time periods. The chronology of the field is like the rings in a tree that reflects the history of the organism, with birth starting on the outer edge of the field and moving into the current age. Forks are used both diagnostically and therapeutically to locate and correct distortions in the body’s energy field, or biofield by identifying and amplifying the resonance of stuck energy of emotional memories.

The densities that are ‘combed’ relate to experiences of physical, mental or emotional stress from any point in our lifetimes.

Can tuning forks heal you?

Tuning fork therapy is known for bringing the body and mind into balance and supporting the release of negative thoughts or emotions. Many integrative medicine doctors, acupuncturists and other healers bring tuning forks into their professional practice, but you can also reap their benefits at home.

Western medicine is beginning to recognize the biofield as an important factor in overall health and wellness. Medical professionals are using tools to measure and affect a human’s energy in medicinal ways, including Vibrotactile stimulation, which is sensory stimuli on the skin affecting motor function. (I.e. Parkinson’s patients wearing gloves with electrodes on finger tips)

The main goal of biofield healing is to improve energy coherence between the physical, emotional, mental, and spiritual bodies to create a new, holistic healing pattern and dismiss the root cause for a condition.

Why use tuning forks?

·         Provides instantaneous, deep state of relaxation

·         Improves mental clarity and brain functioning

·         Increases your level of physical energy and mental concentration

·         Relieves stress by drawing your body into a centered space

·         Enhances massage, acupressure, dreamwork, and meditation

·         Brings your nervous system into balance

·         Integrates left and right brain thought patterns

·         Tuning the body’s natural cycle or circadian rhythm while stimulating homeostasis, which helps bring the body back into its natural state of balance

·         Attunes the body’s vibrations on a cellular level and promotes the activation of chi so life force energy can flow freely without blockages

·         Aids in repairing our DNA structure while reducing chronic stress levels, anxiety, inflammation, muscle pains, and digestion disorder symptoms  Yogafit Biofield Tuning Manual

The main goal of Biofield Healing and Sound Healing is to improve energy coherence between the physical, emotional, mental, and spiritual bodies to create a new holistic healing pattern and dismiss the root cause for a condition.

YogaFit Therapeutic Applications of Sound and Mantra

Tuning forks resonate with the dissonance in the body and then moves it to the harmonious sound of the tuning fork through entrainment.

August 25 – Free Yoga in the Park with JSC – Summer of Love!

8:30 AM

Location to be determined! Last year, we were at my growing up stomping grounds of Holmes Park, and I really like the location. The weather was dreary and cold, and we still had over thirty people attend, so I am hoping for a gorgeous day to bring out 100 people! So let’s start spreading the word that we are doing this! Share the event on Facebook! Imagine if we could get that many people together for an awesome yoga practice of opening our hearts to LOVE!!

August 27 – Circle with Nea Claire

6:30PM

Nea is a fabulous channel who I met in the spring, and she offers attendees the opportunity to ask questions from the Masters who she works with. When I first met Nea, she channeled Quan Yin, the Buddhist Goddess of Compassion. The energy changes in the room when Nea “steps out” of her body and, in this case, Quan Yin, “stepped in.” It was truly a humbling experience to be around such a wise Soul who truly is full of compassion. Nea never really knows who will show up, as several Masters work through her. But she often will start to receive messages or themes the day of an event.

More information will be forthcoming, but I want you to get this event on your calendar!  http://www.neaclare.com/

Psoas Release Class

Saturday, August 19 8:00AM -9:30AM

The matrix grid is programming the ego with manipulating thought forms/emotional outbursts/destructive behavior into the primal reptilian brain stem, vagus nerve and amygdale. The majority of your thoughts are not your own consciousness. The matrix simulation was designed to keep you in lower-frequencies of despair, victimization, addiction and hopelessness. Your natural life force has been siphoned, your Light has been drained and your energy field has become fragmented from astral attacks and inserted with portals/doorways leading to the parasites. All of this changed in the year 2012! On 12/21/12 the dark forces lost control of the matrix program. With higher awareness and divine presence, all can be cleared away. This psoas release class will be the physiological catalyst to work through and clear your energy field.

So the timeline for full implementation has changed from completion in 2025 to completion in 2018! Many of us have already completed this process, and we will discuss the symptoms for each stage so you can check in with your own ascension progress! It’s all good/God!

Malas are Buddhist prayer beads, used similarly to Catholic rosaries. Malas are a traditional tool used to count the number of times a mantra is recited, breaths while meditating, or the repetitions of a Holy Master’s name. Conventional Buddhist tradition counts the Mala beads at 108, signifying the mortal desires of mankind. The number is attributed to the Mokugenji Sutra wherein Shakyamuni Buddha instructed King Virudhaka to make such beads and recite the Three Jewels of Buddhism. In later years, various Buddhist sects would either retain the number of beads, or divide them into consecutive twos, fours, for brevity or informality. A decorative tassel is sometimes attached to the beads, flanked by talismans or amulets depending on one’s local tradition. Because prayer beads are often painted in pigment, various traditional schools attribute a consecration ritual by the Sangha to the beads, to “open the eyes” for the purpose of achieving Enlightenment unique to the Karma of each believer.

Schedule for the morning:

8:00       Chakra Alignment Yoga Class

9:15        Chakra Updates!

10:30     Mala Workshop with Aggie

Tuesday, June 21 – Summer Solstice Yoga Class!
6:00-7:15pm;
$15 drop in or use as a make up class!

Join us for our regular Summer of Peace class, and at the end of the class, we will repeat our peace mantra 108 times!! The mantra for this class is Aham Prema – This mantra reveals your true nature as pure love. Prema means “love,” the flowing energy that connects us all. This mantra helps us express love in every word and action. When we see the world and others with the eyes of love, our hearts are filled with gratitude and grace.

Saturday, June 25
Post Summer Solstice Celebration – ArtAsana!!
8:00am – approximately 11:00am

Jerilyn and I are still fine-tuning the details, but this fun morning event includes yoga, painting, and brunch! We’ll begin with a yoga practice from 8:00-9:00am, and then Jeri is leading us in a painting activity (think Wine and Painting but with a YOU-nique medium!) for the rest of the morning. Just bring your mat and water. If the weather is beautiful, we will be outdoors! This class is limited to 15 people, so please pre-pay to ensure your place. (Price will be provided in the next newsletter.)

Thursday, July 14 Live Didgeridoo Music and Yoga!
6:00-7:15pm;
$15 drop in or use as a make up class!!
All payments and donations go to Melanie.

This was such a great event last time, so we are inviting Melanie back for another session of didgeridoo music and yoga! The Aboriginal didgeridoo is known as the world’s oldest instrument. The vibrations from this instrument are known to heal in two ways. The vibration works like nature’s ultrasound and can speed up the healing process of broken bones. Each instrument has its own key which correlates with the chakras in the body. The process of entrainment will be explored and this occurs when the vibrations from each individual instrument actually change the vibrational frequency in the chakras.

Saturday, August 13 Psoas Release Workshop
8:00-10:00am;
$25 RSVP

In this workshop, Jill will guide you in a psoas release gentle yoga class. Why release the psoas muscles? The psoas muscles are the deepest layer of muscles in our hip flexors. If they were to be held in the hand, they would literally fall apart, they are that fragile. Yet they play a very important role in the body of mammals. They store our stress and trauma. We are all familiar with stress. But many of us do not understand the trauma our bodies hold. From our very birth, we experienced trauma. After babies are born, a healthy baby will cry and shake it’s little fists and legs. That is the baby’s natural instinct to release the trauma from birth. If a baby is born lethargic, it doesn’t release its trauma, and that can be stored in the physical and emotional body for years, even for a lifetime!

The same can be said for traumas experienced throughout our day. Accidents like car, bike, even bumping your nose hard, can produce trauma. While some people might not store the accident in the body, others can experience this trauma very severely, creating post traumatic stress, PTS or sometimes referred to as PTSD (disorder). That is small scale trauma. But there are other forms of trauma. Our soldiers returning home from war often exhibit signs of trauma, with loud noises or sudden movements triggering  there trauma.

The key to releasing trauma from the psoas muscles involves a vigorous shaking of the hips, which is hard to produce in day to day actions. In this workshop, Jill will lead you through a series of gentle yoga poses and breathing techniques to help you release your own trauma. You will also be given access to a JSC video to help you work on the psoas release on your own.

This class will be limited to 10 people to accommodate our indoor yoga studio, but if the weather cooperates, we will take the practice to the outdoor yoga studio, where we can accommodate more people. This decision will be made a couple days ahead of the session.

Please message me to sign up. Prepayment is encouraged to hold your space on the mat.
